Wizkid Performed At CAF Awards In Ghana, But Shatta Wale Could Not Perform And He Did Nothing . .

A huge blow to Shatta Wale has just been recorded, after Starboy Wizkid went to Ghana to perform at the aiteo CAF Awards, which held yesterday, and Shatta Wale DID NOT PERFORM!

Recall few weeks back, Shatta Wale threatened to disrupt Wizkid in Ghana, whenever the latter comes to his country to perform, of course he landed Ghana, and he performed at the aiteo CAF Awards which held yesterday in Accra.

Salah was yesterday, crowned the winner of the African Footballer of the year at the CAF Awards, and like any other event, several other musicians were billed to perform on the night of the event and popular among them was Wizkid, Shatta Wale, Efya, Flavour, and Kidi.

Prior to the award show, fans of Shatta Wale wouldn’t let our ears rest when it was revealed that Shatta would be performing at the event for the second time after his last performance at the award show in Nigeria in 2016.

Everyone especially Ghanaians were waiting to see Shatta Wale mount the stage and perform as announced but throughout the show, there was no sign of the artiste coming to perform and rumors started spreading on Social media that, he’s unlikely to perform because of some disagreements.

Interestingly all of the Nigerian acts performed on the night and this has infuriated Ghanaians and many have registered their displeasure on Social media, asking why such an event was held in Ghana and Ghanaian artistes are not given same opportunities to perform but rather Nigerians were allowed to dominate the show once again.

So why didn’t Shatta Wale Perform at the aiteo CAF Awards?

What we’ve gathered from mulitple sources is that, Shatta Wale was at the scene but felt disrespected because of how the organisers wanted to handle things, and so decided to leave the venue because nigerians were dominating
