Last month, the #NYPD Special Victims Unit launched an investigation into the allegations of at least seven women who claimed that #RussellSimmons raped or sexually assaulted them in some way. The claims date back as far as the early 80’s, and although the mogul has taken and passed a polygraph lie-detector test, two more women have come forward with rape allegations and have filed police reports.
One of the women is SherriHines who claims Simmons raped her at his office in 1993. She was a guest on #MegynKelly’s talk show last month as well and made the same claims. The other woman has remained anonymous and alleged that Simmons raped her at his home in Manhattan back in 1991. Apparently they had just ended a date and went back to Simmons’ home where he allegedly made unwanted advances at the woman and “forcibly raped her when she rejected his advances” according to @TMZ_tv.
These two women now make 14 women who have openly accused Simmons of sexual assault. He has not made any more comments regarding the allegations at this time.
